Astro Social Share 2.2.0, small contributions that add up

Small contributions that add up

Today I’m happy to share that a small PR I submitted to the astro-social-share project has been merged.

It’s a modest contribution, but I’m glad I had the chance to collaborate on an open source project I find both useful and well maintained. Big thanks to the maintainers for reviewing and accepting the change.

For those unfamiliar, astro-social-share is a component that makes it easy to add social media sharing buttons to projects built with Astro. Astro is a modern framework for building fast, content-focused websites. It sends minimal JavaScript to the client and allows you to use multiple component frameworks (like React, Svelte, or Vue) within the same project.

It’s still kind of magical to me that even a small improvement can become part of something used by people around the world. Onward!
